Matso's Street Fest 2024 is happening this September long weekend at Matso's Broome Brewery.

Celebrate the full moon as it rises above Chinatown and sits spectacularly atop the Fusion Artwork!
This only happens twice a year, so feel free to head down and take some photos and enjoy Broome’s town centre.

The festival favourite PEARL MEAT COOK OFF is making its return as part of Shinju Matsuri, Festival of the Pearl!

As the current reigning champions of the Pearl Meat Cook Off, Spinifex Brewery has been invited to host the event at their iconic new venue.

Khanh Ong is returning for Shinju’s premier event, the Shinju Matsuri Sunset Long Table Dinner on spectacular Cable Beach. Indulge in an opulent night dining under the stars, while Khanh curates and delivers this year’s menu alongside Spinifex Brewery Cable Beach.

The Broome Turf Club is carved out of bushland at picturesque Gantheaume Point, just a stone's throw from world-famous Cable Beach. This idyllic location perched on the Broome peninsula is surrounded by the Indian Ocean and benefits from the constant cool breezes which are a welcome relief in the hot and humid climate of the Kimberley.

The Kimberley Aboriginal Fashion Textiles Art (KAFTA) Runway will be held at Town Beach Jetty, Broome/Rubibi on Sunday 2nd June 2024. Tickets on sale now!

The total solar eclipse is set to take place on Saturday, July 22, 2028. The eclipse's central trajectory will span across Australia, starting from the north-west Kimberley area and proceeding in a south-east course through Western Australia. This is Australia's longest-duration total solar eclipse during the 21st century.

Staircase to the Moon is a natural phenomenon which occurs when a full moon rises over the exposed tidal flats of Roebuck Bay. The Staircase to the Moon happens 2 - 3 days a month between March and October in Broome, Western Australia.

Save the date! This Thursday 31st August will provide the rare opportunity to see the FUSION MOONRISE in Chinatown from 6PM - 7PM. This is a rare event as it only happens twice a year.

The Journey Down is an animated and vibrant celebration of dance, song, projections and otherworldly sound coming together to transform an old bush wreck into a travelling canvas of story and culture. This free event comes to Broome Saturday, September 2nd at the Cable Beach Amphitheatre as part of Shinju Matsuri.
