Join Bardi / Jawi man Bolo Angus and his family on an inspirational journey through his traditional country on the Dampier Peninsula at Lullumb. Learn about Bardi Jawi culture and experience hunting and gathering techniques passed down through the generations. Walk through mangroves, paperbark forests, salt plains, creeks and drink from a sacred freshwater spring.
The Southern Cross Cultural Walk is approximately 4 hours in duration with a minimum level of fitness required. Bolo will welcome you to Bardi / Jawi country and guide you through a fascinating cultural journey at Lullumb, the spectacular and pristine coastal country of his ancestors. This secluded place is where Bolo shares his cultural knowledge with visitors on his engaging and family friendly tours.
This relaxed journey unfolds through cultural stories, songs, hands on experiences and survival skills including hunting methods.
The tour culminates with a cook up of all the bush tucker that has been collected and caught during the tour and a traditional Kimberley damper.

Cancellations
Southern Cross Cultural Tour cancellations made more than forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure date may be made without penalty and a full refund will be given to the customer. Cancellations made within forty-eight (48) hours of departure date will result in a loss of total costs.
We require a minimum number of people to conduct our tours. If we do not reach our minimum, we will offer you the choice between a full refund or a rescheduled date that suits you.
Weather cancellations: cancellations made by the operator due to weather conditions will entitle the customer to a full refund of the Fare Price. Please note that if the customer made the booking for a tour through a booking agent, all refunds of deposits and booking fees are to be obtained directly from the booking agent. Such booking agent may at their discretion retain a booking fee less than or equal to 100% of the total price.
Southern Cross Cultural Tours reserves the right to cancel or postpone any tour due to cultural, seasonal, poor road conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances. 100% of the tour cost will be refunded or a credit given towards another tour.
Failure to show: it is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that they arrive on time at the nominated point of departure for the tour. Failure to do so will mean that the passenger forfeits the full fare price to the operator.
