After col­lec­tion from your accom­mo­da­tion at 11.30am, relax in our coach as we take you through Durack coun­try to Lake Argyle. Near­ing Lake Argyle, we will take a short break at the his­toric Argyle Downs Home­stead Muse­um. This Muse­um was con­struct­ed as a repli­ca of the orig­i­nal fam­i­ly Home­stead and used the orig­i­nal Home­stead stone. After a short dri­ve, we view enor­mous Lake Argyle from a scenic loca­tion. Cross­ing the Ord Top Dam wall, guests will see the Ord Hydro-Pow­er Sta­tion before board­ing the Triple J Tours boat for a scenic 55km cruise back to Kununur­ra. Mar­vel at the spec­tac­u­lar scenery, wildlife, flo­ra and fau­na found along the way and maybe even spot a croc­o­dile! Enjoy after­noon tea at our river­side camp before head­ing back to Kununur­ra. Take in a colour­ful East Kim­ber­ley sun­set before dock­ing back at the Mari­na for return to your accom­mo­da­tion. ___________________________________ ## Dura­tion 6 hours ___________________________________ ## About Kununur­ra Park­ing is strict­ly lim­it­ed at our office and mari­na loca­tions hence we offer the door-to-door ser­vice at your Kununur­ra hotel, car­a­van park or resort accom­mo­da­tion. After col­lec­tion from your accom­mo­da­tion, and depend­ing on your tour selec­tion, you will either be tak­en for a 70km coach tour to Lake Argyle or just 5km (by coach) to one of our ves­sels at the Mari­na. From each loca­tion, you will join the longest dai­ly riv­er cruise in Aus­tralia — a 55km boat ride on the Lake Kununur­ra sec­tion of the Ord Riv­er. Cruis­ing this spec­tac­u­lar water­way, you will mar­vel at the spec­tac­u­lar scenery, wildlife, flo­ra and fau­na found along the way and maybe even spot a croc­o­dile! Stop­ping at one of our River­side Camp’s for a sump­tu­ous buf­fet lunch we will then have you cruis­ing up to the Ord Top Dam – an impos­ing sight when find­ing your­selves at its water line base on the Lake Kununur­ra side! Board our coach for a dri­ve across the Ord Top Dam and a stop at a scenic look­out. As we leave the Lake Argyle town-ship, we will make a short stop at the his­toric Durack Home­stead Muse­um.
